I guess I always thought failure was a good thing. Either when it’s learning Chinese while having a language processing disorder or doing a Ironman 70.3 without experience in any of the three legs, I think that my “why not” has legitimately been, “why not.” I don’t want to count myself out just due to starting metaphorically behind the starting line, but rather see the disadvantage and think how great the journey is going to be.

And finally today the long 9 month solo journey to completing an Ironman 70.3 has paid its dividends. The following week I will be flying to Taiwan to study Chinese at one of their leading universities. So let’s be great, and be mirrors of Christ’s beauty in the world. God bless.
