Why I became a bus driver

I was retired and bored. I was also spending my money faster than it was coming in. I decided to get a job but didn’t know what I wanted to do. I knew I didn’t want to any hard work. I saw an ad for a bus driver’s job. People were telling me that I didn’t want to be bothered with some bad little kids. Well , I thought maybe these kids just needed someone to talk to. I applied for and got the job. I now mentor kids in my district. I enjoy talking to my kids and I have become a sounding board for many of them. Im about to enter my 8th year on the bus.
